Helicopter Flight Training provides for the training needs of the New Zealand helicopter industry with a global approach for both technical and operational skills. This includes pilot training to a commercial pilot standard and advanced career focused programs. Our services are also offered on an international basis, where we deliver our two year, professional pilot program.

Having a vast range of operational experience Helicopter Flight Training is able to tailor a training solution for most situations from the initial private pilot licence to the airline transport pilot licence, with a multi-engine instrument rating. We cater to New Zealand and global needs for quality helicopter pilots.

Our goal at Helicopter Flight Training is to train pilots above and beyond the basic standard. We pride ourselves on safety, professionalism and preparing our pilots for the aviation work force. We have 10 instructors on staff with a wide range of helicopter experience, from all aspects of commercial operations, to Air Force, Navy, and Military flying. We have a combined Flight experience in excess of 30,000 hours.

Our fleet consists of 5 Training Sikorsky S-300 Helicopters, with additional training in MD 500 Helicopters, and a Robinson R44.
